BO-KATAN KRYZE:
RETURN OF THE PRODIGAL DAUGHTER

Petrified by the decisions in her past, the rightful heir to the throne must return to her homeworld to save her people before the evil insurrectionists commit planet-wide genocide.

Lending itself to the format of a half-hour series episode, this 30 minute sci-fi film tells the untold story of the junction of fates in a number of characters' interconnected stories, created to faithfully bolster canon lore and fill the gap in a grand story that is too intriguing to be left unexplored.

Undermined

Contracted by a gold mine prospector to eradicate an elusive pack of tommyknockers, a self-proclaimed mythical beast wrangler must face his most harrowing challenge yet in order to save the mine and continue his perfect record.

Undermined was produced for a course at the University of Colorado at Boulder Cinema Studies and Moving Image Arts with professor and TTIFF founder Emilie Upzcak.

Through My Eyes

Ben has been struggling to find himself. Hoping to come to terms with his new reality, he turns to nature, but doesn't expect to uncover a deeper meaning in his search for peace.

This psychological thriller makes the audience experience the film from the main character’s perspective through the veil of anxiety and paranoia. We personally consulted with a psychologist to achieve the most accurate and respectful portrayal of the idea presented.

Still Life

No longer able to find joy in his life, a self-isolating man suffering in internal despair struggles with himself as his missing piece fades away.

A drama created by Gabriel Kawamura when he was 15 years old, this short film is a must-watch regarding cinema from young talent. With the help of two school friends on set and an incredibly gracious actor, Still Life was born. Gabriel learned from this experience that  making a film with one character poses a particular challenge.
